What a whirlwind this past month has been! We recently hosted our Dental Coaches Annual Planning and Leadership Summit in Connecticut, and I couldn’t be more proud of the amazing energy and insights that came from the teams who joined us. Watching so many dental leaders connect, collaborate, and plan for an exceptional year ahead was truly inspiring.
I also had the privilege of attending the Greater New York Dental Meeting, where I met incredible professionals and shared ideas on improving patient care and team engagement. Between that, recent podcasts, and webinars, it’s been a month full of learning and growth.
I can’t wait to share more details and insights from these events in this issue. Let’s keep the momentum going as we head into the new year!
Insight of the Month: Reflection & Intention for 2025
As we close out another year, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on where your practice stands today and where you want it to go in 2025. Taking intentional time to review what worked, what didn’t, and where opportunities lie is essential to building a clear and actionable annual plan.
For many dentists, carving out this time can feel like a luxury—but it’s a necessity. Your team looks to you for direction, and without a roadmap, it’s easy to lose focus. An effective annual plan not only sets your goals but also provides your team with a sense of purpose and alignment.
Once your plan is in place, make it a priority to deliver it to your team in a way that inspires action. Share your vision clearly, celebrate past wins, and communicate how each team member plays a vital role in achieving these goals. When your team feels included and empowered, the entire practice moves forward together.
Don’t wait for January to get started—set aside time now to build your plan and set the tone for a successful year ahead. If you need guidance, Dental Coaches is here to support you every step of the way!

Tip of the Month - Listen to Calls
|
|
|
Start the new year strong by carving out intentional time to review your recorded calls. These calls offer valuable insights into how your team is communicating with patients and where improvements can be made.
In January, schedule a dedicated team meeting to listen to call recordings together. Use this time to celebrate successes, identify areas for growth, and align your team with your goals and vision for 2025. When your team feels engaged and empowered, you’ll set the foundation for a thriving year ahead.
Remember, progress starts with awareness—and listening is the first step!
